Post by pakstar » Sat Sep 23, 2017 1:05 pm

Hi
Any advice will be helpful
I applied for my 2 kids MN1 application in 25th April 2017.
I have been checking throughout the status of application online.
Online website was only recognizing one Reference form for my son.
Every time I put reference no. for my daughter it was not recognizing so I assumed
it may be processing under one reference no.
Today I received the naturalization certificate for my son but I did not receive anything for my
daughter. still online status check says reference no. not recognized for my daughter application.
whereas for my son application it says its decided on 18th September and on 23rd September I received
certificate for my son.
Any suggestion/ idea about my daughter's application?

Regards

tia

Are they both UK born?? Each application is processed and decided on its own.

Thanks CR001 for your response.
Yes both of them are born in UK, applied same time for both of them , received their ackwnoledgment same time with different reference no.s . But my daughter's reference no. is not recognizing on website from day 1. I was thinking maybe both applications are processessed under 1 reference no. but today I got worried when I only received one citizenship certificate for my son only.

Website doesn't give any list and not in any other folder. Can someone tell me if they have done it recently pls
You could of course simply search the forum OR phone NCS and ask

british-citizenship/ncs-tomorrow-jcap-q ... 27525.html

british-citizenship/jcap-application-forms-t219917.html

https://www.gov.uk/government/collectio ... ng-service

Thanks anyway, finally applied on 22nd lets see when it will be done (could take months)

Hi everyone,

First time posting on this forum as I have just received my NON EEA PR card as a family member of an eea national. I am a bit confused as to when I can apply for British naturalisation. I have seen that we can apply 1 year after holding a PR card but also they count the date of the application for PR. Is that true? I'll be applying alone (my eea national will apply only after me). I applied for our PR on may 2017 and received the PR card on september 2017. So am I eligible to apply from may 2018 or september 2018?

Many thanks.
There should be the date on the PR card, from which date it is applicable.
Basically that date is the decision date and 1 year from there....you can apply for BC
Pleae do not give incorrect advice. The date that PR is ATTAINED is NOT the same as the date on the PR card. Non EU family members automatically attain PR after 5 years residence. The card is simply a confirmation of the status they already have attained under the EEA/EU rules.
As far as i know, date is always printed on (EU or NON-EU) PR card - which is the valid from date of that card.
Even me not being a EEA/EU, got PR after 5 years residence and has got PR card with valid dates on that.
One year after that valid date on PR , we can apply for BC.
I don''t think there is a separate rule of EU/Non-eu applicant for BC...unless i am not aware....
Every one has to follow the same route, once they get the PR?

You are wrong. EEA/EU route applicants have a slightly different process as they attain PR automatically which is before the date printed on their PR cards due to being on completely different rules to UK immigration ILR applicants. This has been stated 100's of times on the forum.

Up until November 2015, EU/EEA FM applicants for BC did not even require a PR card before they could apply for BC.

This is not a timeline topic. Please post your timelines in the appropriate place. It also isn't a topic about 'status checking/tracking'. There is a specific topic/thread for that already, link below.

Hi,

I am a director of a UK company since 2011 but I forgot to mention about my 3 other companies of which I was/am a director in the employment section of the naturalisation application, they were formed only after 2011 (2 are dissolved and the other hasn't even started trading yet), the first company is my 'main employment' since it started. I really think I am an idiot to have forgotten about including them.

Obviously as a director I only have to file one self assessment for all the income I receive from any number of companies and the NCS person attached my self assessment return that I provided from the HMRC along with the application. She also asked me to fill the section as self-employed and designation as director.

So, my question is will not mentioning about the other 3 companies impact my application in any adverse way?

I applied on 2nd May and haven't heard back since, I'm getting really worried and impatient now :(

You can just call them and let them know you involuntarily left a job out from the employment history
I am sure that HO will contact you if they need any additional information from you

Thanks you very much for your reply EEA National!

If I call them will it be OK or will they think what I have been doing and have not told them for past 5 months since the application and will I get into trouble?

Also, if I understand correctly then the tax & NI for the self assessment is calculated together combined for the different incomes from different companies that I may be a director for and drawing income from, so the document that I provided includes the combined calculation...

While filling the naturalisation form I thought the self assessment covers all my income, tax & NI and that my main employment was my first company since 2011...:(

Does anyone else have any parallel second or third employments that they didn't mention or forgot and got approval? specially company directors?

Any help is much appreciated!

Don't worry of how you will look like, as long as you make efforts to make it right you will be OK. It will be worse to wait HO to blame you in trying to hide evidence or frauds
For the rest I am not familiar with tax so can't help there

Online status now says "Decided"

Super excited. Private Ceremony for me..

Please has anyone done Private ceremony at NCS Lewisham?? I guess on the day I can just go all by myself as I really do not want anyone cancelling work for me to attend this.

This is not a thread to post/discuss/chat about 'status updates' for the online system. There is a dedicated topic for these posts. Please post there.

Hi all
How long approx takes it before the money is deducted from your account and you get your acknowledgement? Are there people that have waited weeks and weeks?
I see here peeps that have applied on the same day as I have and have a confirmation already within days. Checking other timelines, I see the average wait is 7-10 days. I only have the RM tracking info that it was delivered
I just want to get the biometrics over and done with, so I can just relax and wait out the application :)
What do I need to do if I don't receive any updates?
Dual national since Jan 2018 :) Belgian and British

There are no time lines i guess.
It depends on the caseworker, when he initiates the case i assume.
My application money was deducted after 12 days and i received the Bio-metric letter after nearly a month. I have seen people getting Bio-metric letter and money deduction in a weeks time.

So just wait....usually when i called UKVI, they said on phone that within 4 weeks - you should get an Bio-metric letter.
Hope this helps,

Hi all
How long approx takes it before the money is deducted from your account and you get your acknowledgement? Are there people that have waited weeks and weeks?
I see here peeps that have applied on the same day as I have and have a confirmation already within days. Checking other timelines, I see the average wait is 7-10 days. I only have the RM tracking info that it was delivered
I just want to get the biometrics over and done with, so I can just relax and wait out the application :)
What do I need to do if I don't receive any updates?
There are no time lines i guess.
It depends on the caseworker, when he initiates the case i assume.
My application money was deducted after 12 days and i received the Bio-metric letter after nearly a month. I have seen people getting Bio-metric letter and money deduction in a weeks time.

So just wait....usually when i called UKVI, they said on phone that within 4 weeks - you should get an Bio-metric letter.
Hope this helps,

thanks for your reply, I should just get with the HO flow and see hat happens over the next weeks

I received Ithe biometrics letter today. My name is spelled correctly on the biometrics form but on the receipt letter confirming the payment my name has been misspelled. Do I have to inform th HO of that?
Also, on that receipt letter it states I forwarded 1 supporting document and 0 photocopies but the NCS made copies of all my documentation like p60, passport, letter employer etc
Lastly, this receipt letter only confirms the payment for citizenship, and no mention is made for the passport cost for which I also applied? Is this usual procedure ? TIA
