Tier 2 General Extension Visa

Hi, I have applied for a tier 2 extension visa last week, however, I just realised that I overpaid the application fee should have been up to 3 yrs rather I paid for more than 3 yrs - Shortage Occupation fee.

I am just concerned what If Ukvi Sends my application back? or would it be ok to pay over rather pay less than what it's supposed to be? can anyone guide me on this, please.

I selected wrong answers in my tier2 online app form such as:

IS YOUR EMPLOYER INTHE SHORTAGE OCCUPATION LIST: Should have been NO but I Said (YES)
WHATS THE VALIDITY OF YOUR COS: Should have been up to 3 Yrs but I Said Over 3 yrs.

Above wrong answers prompt me to pay 892.00 per applicant instead of 677.00

That's how I overpaid for the application.

I did send a covering letter Yesterday explaining the mistake.

I would like to know if anyone had or heard similar issues in the past and how it dealt through.
