FLRM - documentation

Post by archaegirl » Tue Sep 26, 2017 1:32 pm

Good Afternoon,
A general question as I'm quite stressed out....upon posting my FLR(m) I realised when I got back that I had left 2 letters of corespondance (the copies are in the package) :( and am concerned that this will be an issue. All other documents are fine.
Any suggestions ?

Should be ok. HO will write if they have an issue or need something.

Hello,
Thank you for that. :) Puts my mind at ease a little knowing they would get in contact if they need further info.

Flrm and Biometrics

Post by archaegirl » Fri Oct 06, 2017 4:25 pm

Quick question and apologies if this has been asked beforehand :I've submitted my application to HO and noticed my online app status has been updated to "awaiting decision". I'm yet to receive my letter to enroll my Biometrics. I'm told it takes 4 to 5weeks to receive the letter to enroll my Biometrics... Should I be worried or hang tight till I receive the letter?

Topics merged.

You appear to have applied very recently. Be patient, you will get a letter. The online status will remain as 'awaiting decision' until a decision is made. The current status does not mean a decision is imminent. Important to note that the status checking system is a BETA system and not always accurate.

And I do have a further question.. (my flr(m) was granted :) ).. My BRP has been issued in my maiden name as my passport is as well. I am going to renew my passport and was wondering if keeping that in my maiden name would be fine for the next extension as I know changing the BRP is quite expensive. Any suggestions?

Thank you. I'm just wondering if I should just renew my passport in my maiden name as it is on my BRP. (we are leaving for a trip) would it matter if on the next extension that documents are in my married name but the BRP and new passport have been issued in my maiden name? (I don't mean to sound stupid. But as I'd be submitting my marriage certificate again is it crucial to change it?)
