Maternity Allownce For HSMP Dependant?

Does anybody know if Maternity Allownce is a Public Fund or not, and if HSMP depndant allowed to get Maternity Allownce ?

Are Agency staff in UK are eligible for Maternity Allowance?

I am HSMP Priciple Applicant & My wife HSMP Dependent.

She work for Agency. can she claim Maternity allownce?
