Second Settlement Visa Application

Hi,

I have applied for a second settlement visa after a refusal has been made on my first settlement visa application. I purchased the priority service that would normally take 15 days to proces. Visa&Immigration website stated that applicants might expect the processing time to be extended in cases where the visa was was refused.

It has been 20 working days now and I have not received a decision.

Any idea on how much extra time I should expect?

What's the basis of your settlement application? Is a family member based in the UK? If so, who and what is the basis of their residence in the UK?

There's no definite timelines in how long it will take for them to make a decision. It's normally taking 3-4 months. Some people are awaiting decision since November 16.

Considering you had a spouse visa refusal it could take longer. All you can do is be patient and wait.
