CATEGORY A OR B OF SPOUSE VISA APPLICATION

Hi everyone.
I have got the dilemma on the question of Category A or B.
I am on monthly salary and in the past 11 months my salary is as follows :
30 Nov 16 - 1179.
30 Dec 16 = 1893.
31 Jan 17 = 2520.
28 Feb 17 = 2031.
31 Mar 17 =1893.
28 Apr 17 =1913.
31 May 17 = 1913.
30 June 17 =2102.
31 Jul 17 = 1435.
31 Aug 17 = 2038.
29 Sep 17 =1558.
Please help which category is the best option for me as I am worried about July pay (1435) which is the basic pay as I was in annual holiday.

I believe that it will depend on the breakdown of your pay. Does your paystub say Salary = x, Overtime = y, holiday pay = z? And if so, in what amounts? Also, I think you qualify under category B already if I'm not mistaken.

Assuming you are with present employer from 6 months then category A non-salaried appearing more fit.

Yes I have been in the same employment for a year now, also in my salary slips the outline is as follows for the latest one 31 October2017,
(1) Base pay=£ 1465.10,
(2) Overtime pay=£ 321.32.
(3) Holiday pay=£ 386.40.
Total gross pay=£ 1786.42.
Base pay is fixed at £ 1465.10 every month, but over time vary from £0 to £ 1084.88 every month.
Both contract of employment and letter from employer considered only gross basic annual pay of 17581.20 which is 1465.10 a month, would that be a problem? I am really confused and stressed about this categories.

Tell your employer to add the information of your overtime working as well in addition of basic wages into employment letter. It shouldn't be a problem in doing so.

Your base pay is calculated as the LOWEST base pay in the last 6 months multiplied by 12. I assume they are all equal and at £1465.10 over that 6 month period. From that point overtime is then added by taking the total overtime earned in the last 6 months, and doubling it (or more accurately dividing by 6 and multiplying by 12). From the sounds of things going Category A as salaried is the most fitting so long as you include a cover letter doing the calculations for them to prevent any misunderstandings. Also it was suggested getting the employment letter to include these figures as well and that's a great idea.

Thanks gays, you have been life savours. I have contacted the HR department about reference letter and possibility of adding the overtime bit, but sadly they refused, would this letter be an obstacle?
