Tier 1 Extension , Interview call. please advice

Hi

I have applied for Tier 1 Extension on 24th Feb
Bio metric given- 13th March
Complex letter - 29th March
Today 22nd September - Received Interview call from Home office. Gentleman on the phone said , he will be visiting our office address on Monday 25 th September.

Any one who has given interview previously, please advice what to expect on the day.

Seems a lot of Feb (T1 Ent extension) applicants were interviewed this month. I was also interviewed last week with more or less same questions the other members have posted on this forum.

However this is frustrating that even after waiting this long and checked/verfieid further by UKVI officials personally, no outcome/decission appearently received by anyone who was interviewed sofar.

I completely feel its very unfair to be waiting for visas for over 7 months. Its not like a nasa project. One is stuck in the country without freedom of movement as the passport is not with us !!!!

Most people seem to be from feb 2017, however i am from dec 2016 and in the same situation!

No, they work from home. but i did provide them with the Rota and their details.

I dont think they will interview any one else apart from you, as you are the one signing the statement at the end and not your staff or customer.

No they asked for recent 3 months , i gave them since i have employed them .. for last 20 months ..since start for safe side

Please find the answers below.

Question - were your company in profit or loss?

1- its in profit, but even if it is in loss dosnt make any difference. as far as you running your business.

Question-is it VAT registered?

2- No its not . thats something i should have done it . but they did not ask about vat registration

Question-were the interviewers cooperative and lenient? did they ask any cross questions?

3- yes , they were nice and cooperative. they are compliance officers and only come to take your details to pass it to the case worker. so nothing to worry about .

they are not the people who will take decision on your application . they will make a report on the basis of details and documents you provided to them .

so do not worry at all. just keep all your paper work ready and go through all your documents once.


Question-did they ask you to show client's data?

4 - yes they did ask about current client details, contracts, invoice also ho their office /building looks like

Question-are your employees full time or part time?

1 full time , 2 - full time.

I am aware of that however he mentioned 90 % was same and 10 % was different he did not directed saying if it was his business related 10% however if its any different it would help others.

Some of the questions which I believe were different from other applicants are below.
Answers I have given according to my nature of business and circumstance. It might be different for others.

Question - Does your business require you to register with any standard authority / agency?
If yes, details of the authority/agency.

My answer-Our business doesn’t require that but instead we have business insurance policy to cover us if anything goes wrong. (They asked my insurance details)

Question - What research you have done before starting your business?
My Answer- I have done SWOT analysis for my business & for self too, also did survey to find out current trend and demand. (They asked me for our business plan and survey reports. I gave them hard copies for both)

Question – if your employees work from home, how you track their work and measure their performance?

Question- Employees annual leave and if it’s mentioned on your pay slip. I did not have on my pay slip but on my rota instead. I provided them with the roster.

Question- why don’t you have your company’s sign board in front of your house?

Question- What measures have you taken for your employee’s safety?


My nature of business is Advertising and Designing so they asked question related to that, your might be different.
