Lets be honest guys, what are the chances that we will get a decison by the 31 oct
We'll just have to wait and see what happens...
Wait? been waiting for 6 months buddy. I cant wait man.
Ive been waiting 140 working days. (Applied in March 2017). No 'on hold' or ' not straight forward emails'. I was going to contact my MP, until I got the Octber 31st deadline email. All we can do is wait, pray and hope.

If they do not adhere to the new deadline, then it's straight to the MP and see if we can get some real answers.

Same here man, but no contact from them what so ever, feels like your file is in a dark basement gathering dust underneath huge stacks of other piles. I feel for you man but at least you did not got the straight forward email. Your is 100% straightforward. What is delaying them is beyond me. Our hope is this deadline, than after that what hope do we cling too?

Just to give you an heads up on this , i never got the case not straight forward mail , yeah i am checking my spam too and if no other mail from ukvi is going in spam so that should not be the case. Even they did not said that thing to my MP but I did raise complaint against UKVI and in resolution of that complaint they said that they already send a mail on 2nd September that my case is not straightforward.
Please check or raise a complaint atleast you will come to know your case is not straight forward

Thankyou, timeline below we applied for spouse visa/settlement for my husband and two daughters, but yet to hear for the daughters though so not sure my husband can travel with out me (sponsor).?? We applied thru the Cash Savings route too

- Biometrics 6/6/17 in Sydney
- Paid priority for 3 applications and opted for scanned service
- Sheffield received & confirmed next day 7/6/17
- Not straight forward email on the 17th July, they requested more documents that we sent same day
- Escalated applications on the 5th September
- Received the email on the 26th September saying they aim for decisions by 31st October
-Received another not straight forward email 28th September this time they needed us to pay IHS for our daughters due to their system having a error making them exempt.
- Received email and text on the 29th September to say my husbands processed visa application is in the country
- Received the approval letter and passport today 3rd October 2017
- Now waiting for our daughters

It seems a lot like they are processing the Priority fee paid applications now from the past few months, I have not seen many non-priority getting an update on their applications, there are some, but mostly are priority.

Let me know what you guys think!

Hi
Yes they do just because they don't want to give refund back. If they will clear them First they think will not need to give fees back.

Is the Online tracker working for Non-eu cases after a decision has been made? I read that they have closed the service down for non-eu cases so that it will not show even if the case decision has been made?

yes, to me it sounds like they knew more and more people were going to share their stories with the media so they sent this out before the next wave of negative articles went online. If they sent out the email just to mess with peoples heads then i don't even know what to say about a person who is like this...
