Request for Sponsor – TIER 2 General

Post by niranjanreddy » Tue Oct 03, 2017 1:47 pm

Hello There,

I am on Tier 2 ICT visa and my spouse is with me on a dependent visa. If I have to change to a new visa ( Tier 2 Gen) from my current Tier 2 ICT visa then I have to leave the country and serve the cooling off period for a year to return back on new visa. So I am planning to convert to a dependent (dependent visa) by applying Tier 2 General for my spouse. I would be of great help if someone could suggest us Sponsors and how much does it cost, process and timelines for switching.

Thanks in Anticipation.

Regards,
Niranjan

Members are not permitted to name any of the sponsors. You will need to find one that is on the HO approved list. The sponsor will need to complete the full and proper RLMT process before they can offer her the position and issue a CoS. She must get a salary of minimum £30,000pa.
and how much does it cost, process and timelines for switching.
She cannot 'switch' in the UK to Tier 2 General. She has to apply from home country. Timeline can take a few weeks, some have waited longer. Costs £587 plus £600 IHS fee for a visa up to 3 years.

Does your wife qualify for sponsorship with specific skills etc?

What is your wife's career path, experience, skills and educational qualification?

There is a whole range of skills that qualify. I certainly don't have the time to list every single one for you.

So she would then need to find a sponsor, apply for a job with the sponsor that could offer her a position after they have completed RLMT.
