Is there anyone else on here that has got word that a decision has been made on their application on or after the 25th September, if so have you received an email about collecting you documents, they said on the 25th September that a decision had been made but they can't discuss it over the phone to email and that we would be contacted soon to collect the documents but haven't heard anything so just wondering if anyone else has heard anything and how long it take between the decision being made and the document ready to be collected.

Hope everyone get their decisions soon.
our decision made on 22nd September but haven't heard anything, called them today and same answer again that you will get email or txt from VFS any day.
I'm still waiting as well, fed up of the wait now though, have you heard anything more?

Today was my 60th Day from Biometrics. So my timeline is in accordance with the Home office SLA. I'm very lucky to be receiving a response so soon, especially if approved.

Praying for everyone.

Hi yes I got a call at the end of September from then home office asking when my partner intended to enter the country. I told them November. He picked up his passport yesterday - visa granted and he has to enter between 1 November - 1 December. No email about 31st October as his was already decided before this was sent.

Just in case anyone Is wondering - the tracker has never worked for his application even now it’s been decided

Also, I applied priority & got a refund of my fee in July so I urge everyone who applied priority to do the same

Good luck to everyone still waiting

Hi all. Quick update.

My Peruvian parnter applied in Lima in April. Hold email received In May. At the beginning of September the embassy Called me to advise they didn’t recieve my income documents and I had 10 days to send them. Sent them on September 5th. Today the embassy Called me asking when my parnter intends to travel. I asked if this means it’s been approved and she said yes! So. They are processing hold applications, just painfully slowly. Good luck to everyone still waiting
Hi Misskatie, did you get a decision yet and did you receive the 31st October email. I also applied on April and recieved the hold email on July.

Hi,

Congratulations on your visa! Do you have any more information regarding getting the priority fee back? How do I go about getting this?

Many thanks
Hi, yes I emailed the complaints email on the gov.uk website and explained I wanted my fee back as they had unfairly taken it knowning they couldn’t meet the priority service levels

If you flick back over my posts I did copy & paste the email that I sent & the reply I got. This was early July.

I'm on day 50.

Anything after day 60 and I'm going for a refund of all costs incurred: phone calls, emails, priority service, flight tickets etc.

If they don't refund then I'll pass the matter to my solicitor to handle.

This shambolic government department needs taking to task.

Email received on 5th October

Dear XXXXXXXXXX
Thank you for contacting UK Visas & Immigration International Contact Centre.

We escalated your case to the relevant department on 19th and 25th September. You should be contacted regarding your case within 20 working days from the date of escalation.
Please allow the 20 working days to pass before contacting UK Visas & Immigration International Contact Centre again should you not receive any further correspondence.
Regards,

We got application acknowledgment same day we applied, they retained the photocopy set of documents and returned original set in 1 day with a generic letter.

Case escalated via call. My husband have called 5 times in total and calls always lasted between 2 - 5 minutes.
