Visiting visa for family

I have ILR and my requirements to apply for family settlement visa has not yet met, can they apply for visit visa to come to UK to visit me?

Highly unlikely since an attempt to settle has been made.

No becuase with a settled partner in the UK, there will be little reason to return.

Thanks Cro001, do they not consider that it may take 1 and half year to get visa for family(as some members are waiting ) SO meanwhile my family can visit me?

As stated above, highly unlikely
my colleague on ILR had his wife's visit visa refused several times until he gave up and waited till he met the requirements
