Switching from Tier 5 YMV to Dependent of Tier 4

Hello!
I am currently living in the UK on a Tier 5 Youth Mobility Visa and I got married to my husband three months ago, who is also in the UK on a Tier 4 Student Visa (he is currently pursing his PhD). We are both Canadian.
Do you know if it would be possible to switch from my Tier 5 to a dependent visa to my husband's Tier 4 visa? If so, can I apply from within the UK and how many months prior to my visa's expiration should I apply? Would I be allowed to work as a dependent under the Tier 4 visa?
