SET (M) - what qualifies as dependent child

Post by bowbohm » Wed Oct 18, 2017 8:21 am

Hello,

Just need clarity on something.

My husband (British born citizen) and I had our son nearly two years ago. He has a British birth certificate and a passport. Seems to me he isn't my 'dependent' so I only need to qualify with £18,600. Is this right?

Do I need to submit any evidence for my son along with my set(m) application (five year partner route)?

Thank you
Rachel

Correct he is not a dependent for visa purposes but you still need to mention him in the relevant section of the form and provide evidence required.
