Hi,
I have my VFS Chennai appointment for TIER 2 visa application on 26th Oct for our baby. This is employer sponsored visa and my employer's 3rd party had made the IHS payment successfully but due to incorrect email in the application, I did not receive the email confirmation with the reference number. Checked with the 3rd party and even he missed noting the IHS reference number displayed on the screen.
I found this post from the past with exact problem I have at hand and a recommendation from UK Visa Help as posted by the user. However the user had not updated the status of his application and seem to be inactive from the date.
Isn't the application reference number (GWF#) connected to the IHS reference number? As the online application shows that the IHS payment is completed in green I believe there should be someway for High Commission to verify that the payment is made. However, the button "IHS Payment Completed" on the online application is inactive and not allowing me to view any details of the payment paid. "View payment" button shows only the visa application payment details.
Has anyone faced this situation and were able to get the visa successfully? Kindly let me know if someone has first hand information on how to deal with this. Any tried and worked suggestions are of great help please.
