I am already in the UK on dependent visa and it is my current employer who applied for the COS for me.
The employer chased it up through the Email, also explained the urgency ( I am working as a physio and have a backlog of referrals waiting ).So they actually did it considering my application exceptional and outside monthly limits.

Hi
Don't worry, you will get it soon.
I have a doubt to ask you, I am planning to apply for my visa, probably next week. Do you know whether I need a criminal record certificate for the time I was in the UK? I got one from back home.

Hello Ancy,

I dont have much idea about this. You need to confirm this to your employer as they might have list of dicument required for applicant to apply visa.

Just to update you, I have heard that if u are in UK only and your current cisa is not expire soon or u have enough time in UK, you can apply this visa fom UK only and you dont need go to your Home Country. Also there are some fast servise as well in which you can get visa result on same day but it will charge yiu little more.

All the best for future process. I still dint get any mail from HO.

Hi Ancy,

Congratulations on receiving your COS.
Does this mean, HO is still issuing approvals after the list has been published on 23 oct?
I have still not heard from my employer on this so assuming they have not received any further updates from HO. I am getting nervous now as my employer is saying to just wait and they don't want to follow up with the HO. I am not sure why my employer is reluctant to chase them. Can you suggest some idea? How did your employer ask for update? Does HO get annoyed when employers chase them? Is there any way I can chase the HO or I shouldn't chase because the COS request is issued by my employer.

Thanks
Anasooya

My employer just sent an Email to Tier2 limits team and they responded the next day asking a query about my salary band and then the following day the application was granted.
Thanks Ancy

hey Anasooya,
I dont think you can contact HO as your application is submitted by your employer also HO will not annoyed. Employer can ask about any query related to visa also they can chase as well.
I m also having "Under review" status. So, I think best option we have is to WAIT. :(

Hi pranali,
sorry I couldnt respond earlier.
Yes I am still waiting for RCOS. HO had asked for additional details which my employer emailed to them, but HO didn't receive it and they said since email was encrypted they were not able to receive the data and hence there was lot of confusion. So now my employer couriered all details. So I am still waiting.. What about you? You mentioned that your employer had contacted them , have you heard anything on your RCOS ?
