Tier 2 dependent visa documents enquiry

Im having a problem and i need help.

My wife current tier 2 general (1year) is expiring on 19th january 2018.

If I were to apply for a general tier 2 dependent now, will i have to renew my visa (repay all the fees during application) together with my wife? Or i cam stay with this general tier 2 dependent visa(3years) even after she renew her visa?

If the dependent visa is still valid for x amount of time, then no the dependent does not have to apply again.

Your post is not very clear, perhaps you should try explain better with all visa expiry and start dates.

My wife started working under general tier 2 visa. Shes a medical doctor in birm. And her visa will last until january 18th 2018.

As for my case, i am.about to join her for the first time. I am applying for general tier 2 dependent. But my wife main concern is, do i have to go through the same procedure again(re apply for visa) if she were to renew/extend her visa this coming january? (Provided that my general tier 2 dependent visa is granted in the nearest time.)

Your dependent visa will be issued in line with your wife's expiry. You won't get a longer visa than the main PBS visa holder.

Greetings. I would like to apply for a tier 2 dependent visa. For the documents required, is it necessary to submit photocopy of all pages of the main tier 2 applicant's passport? or just the main page of the passport?
