Same here set o after completing 6 dlr. Sent form on the 10/10/17 heard nothing not even payment taken. Visa expired 22/10/17 Am really worried

I made my Set P on the 12 October and the Home office received by very next day. 19th I received am email confirming their receipt of my application. So far NO any other postal documents.

Then I when I need to apply for citizenship I need 12 month IRL at least and then that will start from decision date not from last stay expairy date, am I right?

Correct yes (unless you are married to a British citizen, then you don't have to wait 12 months).

can the set(P) be sent two to three months before the completion of the five years qualifying period as home office is taking 5 months on average? or will this harm the application?

Hey ochahrour, you should submit your application only when a month is left to your expiry date. If you send it early HO will either keep you application and start processing it when a month is left to expire or will send back your application abd ask you to apply later.

Am pleased to say that I have received my approval letter today was lucky to find the postman on my door on my way from hospital. I got ILR God is Great.

Thank you all for the uplifting spirits the wait was a big one but coming on and reading messages /experiences from each of you was great. My job was online as well as my training contract.

HKN thank you for checking on me and I wish you all the best surely you will get a positive outcome soon.

My time line is

Applied 19 May
Received 20th
Confirmation letter on 1 June
Did biometrics on 2nd
Been getting an email every month around 2nd
My online status is still awaiting decision
My approval letter is dated 27th October
I have recieved it today very surprising indeed too quick

Hey I appliedon 16th October which the Home office received on 17th October from tracking and then I got my letter to submit Biometrics which I did on 26th. Now the long wait begins about when they will send a decision.

Last Thursday 2/11/17, I received an email saying that you will have received your biometric letter and you should take it to post office....
I replied on the same day, saying that I haven’t received any letter yet.
Still waiting for my biometric letter to arrive.

I just called homeoffice, they said if you sent an email to appointmentexceptions@homeoffice.gsi.gov.uk which I did lst Thursday, then you need to wait for 20 working days to get your new biometric letter. So I guess all I can do now just to wait to receive the biometric letter.
