Documents not returened

Hi,

So i had applied for a Tier 2 dependent visa by post and i have just received the BRP. But i haven't received my passport/documents yet. Is that normal?
I did not provide any returns envelope while applying by post. Do i need to contact any courier company to find out where my documents are as i assumed they would arrive before my BRP.

They are sent separately.

Thanks but isn't it normal for the supporting documents/decision letter to arrive before the BRP? In this case i don't have any decision letter nor the supporting documents
