Your 'friend' is wrong. Members have been refused ILR Long Residence for more than 180 days absence with evidence of parents cancer and death. You stand no chance.1. My friend told me that if I submit any certificate from the doctor that I was not well and stayed a few days more in my country (190 days) then it would not be any problem and I can apply for ten year route.
You don't qualify for ILR based on 10 years residence.I was thinking to become my wife’s dependant for now and in 2020 apply for ILR on ten year route. My wife will apply for ILR after 2022 as she will stay on her 5 year Tier 2 visa.
2. Any other option where the HO can consider my ten year route application on more than 180 days? I m just ten days more than it 190 days in 2012.
