Compilation Report

Post by rayuk » Mon Nov 13, 2017 1:05 pm

Hello all, I am in a similar place soon to apply for my T1 extension. I have the needed accounts and paperwork for job creation except for a separate Accountant's Report.
We use a large firm, KPMG and my contact tells me they do not do such letters at SBA unit we use. There is the std. accounts compilation report showing how accounts were prepared but do not have separate letter yet. Anyone been in similar situation?

Yes, it is the standard accountant's cover letter that is part of any properly prepared accounts (which I am sure KPMG does). No need for a separate letter.
My comments are in no way meant to be advisory. I have no professional knowledge of immigration. These are based on my own experience, convictions and personal interpretation of publicly available information.

Rayuk, no need for seperate letter. KPMG will definitely include it in your accounts as per standard practice.

Always best to continue all your questions in a single thread of yours without starting new threads for each topic. Gives the readers the full context of your situation.
