hi
thanks wellwisher1928
guys one question does my wife need to show the original TB test certificate or can she show a copy of it? and is there anything else she needs to show at the airport?
Yes Hussain252, at time of entry immigration officer ask for TB test certificate. I think Color copy will work.
the tb test certificate is only valid for another few days. she will be travelling after it expires. does she need to get a new certificate made?
No Worries she can carry the old TB test certificate with her. on arrival she can tell about why it expire due to late visa approval or so. if they required new one they will do Xray scan on the spot. It may take a little bit more time at the time of entry.

Hi friends
No update since I received the "final processing stages" email two weeks back
Waiting since January (srilanka)
Not straightforward mail - in march
October 31 email- 25 September

Made an enquiry check in mid oct , received a feed back on 31 oct that my application is in final processing stages and a decision will be made soon

Don't know how long should I need to wait.
My husband and I missed our first Christmas and our wedding anniversary last year December.
I'm too worried if we miss this year too.

Hi
I can understand how its feeling when you missing your loved once. In your case you waiting so long. Its nearly one year. I thought you got your decision. Don't worry you will get your visa soon. If they said its in final stages of decision making usually will hear from them within 20 working days if I'm not wrong. You already waited so long just be strong these final days. I'm pretty sure you can celebrate Christmas and your wedding anniversary together this time. Be positive and strong. I'm also waiting since July didn't hear anything from HO. But nothing more we can do. Just have to wait till they make a decision. Hopefully we all get visa before Christmas and we all can celebrate Christmas and new year together our loved once. Hope for the best. Good luck.

hi,
what I meant is my first application took 1.5 years. I applied in 2013 at the time the HO had took the 18,600 ruling to surpreme court which they won. my application got put on hold even though I met the financial requirements in that. and no I didn't appeal. biggest mistake I made was not using a solicitor to prepare my application.

Hi frnd

It's very confusing if child born in India or Pakistan is he\she eligible for biritsh passport from home country. If one of their parent is UK citizen or permanent stay.
Because in your case they said u to apply British citizen for child. But so many people apply visa fist for children. What it's mean

Hi everyone,

The settlement application of person is being considered some 2 months and no decision yet. It is not that long, as someones other here. But, what alerts is the supsicios texting in request of supporting documents which have been sent to applicant.

The first request asked to send sponsor documents, but instructed to ignore this request if applicant have already scanned her documents in the place where she had applied - Visa Application Center (VAC). As she did provided the sponsor's supporting in the VAC and VAC scanned them, so she ignored the first request.

And in couple of months she have been sent second request to provide sponsor's documents. It says that they did not receive these documents :!: . And she asked to send them scanned to e-mail address. As well there is request to send envelope so they could return the supporting documents. :?: And in the end there is "Please disregard this email if you have already submitted your documents or if these were scanned at the point of application." :?

Please take a look at the screenshots of original textings. They are below. And pardon my celtic, but WTF!?
Do they need original documents from sponsor side to be send to Sheffield or not???

I assumed your 'person' applied in Kyiv? Did he/she bring ALL the required paperwork and was it all scanned at the VAC? He/she must have got a receipt 'Supporting documents submitted' from the VAC, can he/she see all the relevant ticks there?

If I were this person, I would have emailed them all the documents and then would have telephoned about it.

First one is a generic email everyone gets once UKVI receives your application. Second email is very bizarre since they asked to email the documents and include an envelope, very strange.

Is it a priority or standard application?

thanks hussain renewal is different thing.. . 1st child passport application at least take 6 months. its on gov.uk website... and every thing.. the only solution i can see. i contact british high commission pakistan and as them to issue some emergency travel document for my son .. .to travel to uk for 1 time... and then i can do rest procedure . i have contacted embassy they asked my contact number i hope they seriously thinking about it..
but any other options.. you think . visa expires 9th december .. so she has to travel before 9th otherwise we have to apply again .
thanks

Hi Kashif,

I agree with hassan. This is the only option. she has to travel alone to come and collect the BRP and can travel back to secure her visa. she can travel anytime after she get het BRP from post office but she need to come back to UK in 180 days for secure her next extention.. Before her travel you should apply your child british passport to save your time. One of my friend apply his baby girl passport from pakistan and he get passport in 4months. I hope you will also get sooner. Good luck

Hello all,

UKVI just updated the processing times for standard applications on there website. If your applying from the US the percent of decided applications at 60 days went from 96% to 71% from when they updated as per September. Guess I will be waiting even longer before I can rejoin my fiancee.

Settlement
days to process application 3 days 5 days 10 days 15 days 30 days 60 days 90 days 120
% of applications decided 7% 12% 26% 33% 54% 71% 74% 80%

Do they need original documents from sponsor side to be send to Sheffield or not???
Is it a priority or standard application?
Its standard. She brought to visa application center ALL supporting evidence from sponsor. Regardless of that the VAC have got scanned copies of original documents from sponsor side. Regardless that they ask to send scanned copies on e-mail. In Immigration Rules there is clear requirement to provide originals. But why then VAC refused to keep the originals and send them to DMC together with passport?
VAC in Kyiv does not provide receipt that applicant have submitted indeed ORIGINALS to the VAC. They provide only standard checklist with barcode. Which used solely to receive back the passport when the decision will be delivered back to the VAC. It doesn not contain genuine list of documents submitted.

120 days - 80% of applications decided whether 120 days - 72% of applications decided. The question is what's going on with the rest of 20-28% ?!
They are ...what? What should expect applicants whose application held longer than 120 days? When them to expect at least tiny particular progress in decision-making process of their applications?
The problem is that UKVI didn't answer these logically obvious questions which arise in view of absence these 20-28% of applicANTS in statistics published.
