Still waiting unfortunately bro! We've started getting a bit worried at this stage and we were thinking of sending them a letter to enquire about the status of the application, as my brother and his wife may need to travel soon. I'll keep you all posted anyway.

Is your brother got any reply from INIS regarding his zambrano application..

They asked for more documents from him. He applied for change of status from EU FAM to Parent of Irish Born child. They basically asked for previous history in ireland such as social welfare claim(s) and how he supported himself during that time etc.

Is that possible to us that how long did they take to get his first letter from INIS and what kind of question they asked about his zambrano application

He got it after around 1 month or so and they asked him about how he supported himself during all of his stay in Ireland (statements and payslips etc.), and some details on how is he supporting the irish born child etc.

No idea what's wrong with INIS and why are they taking so long.
I was thinking that it might take another month and half, as they have always got back to us requiring more documents, after around a month and half, previously.
I'll let you know if we get anything in the post.

Hiya how r u, y don't your brother write or mail them asking for an update since now they have DNA result which gives them the 100% arcuate answer all their letters upon letters and the main and only reason why Zambrano Application should be granted...

They've asked to sent them my original current passport for verification which I don't know why or what for...

Yeah, we are thinking about the same thing i.e. sending them a letter for an update.
They might want to confirm and verify your identity, due to the name mistake maybe?

Just seeing your messages now.
No, he hasn't received a response. Rather, DOJ are questioning him about his ex EU spouse, which is total non sense , because he is now divorced and wants to continue his life with his non EU wife and new born baby.
I'll let you guys know , if there is any further updates.

Am still waiting to hear from INIS 5months now since they requested for my passport and Still nothing yet from them my hubby says will leave them his sure they'll response no matter how long it will take.
