Tier-2 Change of employment, Can I apply from inside UK

Hi anyone can assist me below inquiry :

I came uk under Tier-2(General) on 14/09/2016 and my Tier-2 was issued on 03/05/2016, valid until 14/03/2019. On 6th Oct'17 I lost my job. But I still did not received my 60days curtailment letter which mean I am still under tier-2.

1. On 1st Dec'17 I had received new Tier-2 Unrestricted CoS from another employer for 3 years. I would like to make new Tier-2 application for change of employment. But I can not find any tab in tier-2 to make application for change of employment online. My question can I make change of employment application from inside uk since I am already in the with valid tier-2 visa. I can not find how to make fresh Tier-2 application from inside UK. I understand I should apply from extension of visa link (https://visas-immigration.service.gov.u ... r2-general ). Pls advise if it is correct.

2. 60 day employment gap. Is it counted from end of last employment to stat of new employment or submission of new tier-2 application? In my case I left job 6th Oct'17 and intend to submit online application on 4th Dec'17 and my start date of new job as per CoS 1st Jan'18. Am I safe for getting ILR after 5 years.

Appreciate any urgent help.

1. You can apply within the UK. That is the correct link.

2. It is counted from the last date of your previous employment to the date of application for a new visa.
