Employee Liability Insurance

Hey All

I applied for Extension in March 2017 and still waiting for decision.I just checked the business insurnace and notice that i have only

Professional indemnity
Public and products liability
Crisis containment


AND

Do not have Employee Liability insurance

is it mandatory to have employee liability insurance?,If yes what is the solution ?

It depends on which industry you are operating. Some industries may require employmee public liability insurance covered as mandatory. But in terms of immigration rules it doesn’t require this. The only risky possibility associated is the business genuineness.
My suggestion is:
Check the industrial association to confirm whether it is mandatory to operate your business.
But if I were you I would not worry about this too much.

Again check your industry association for confirmation.
If the answer is Yes, then I suggest you to get this EL insurance as soon as possible.

It is not Employee but Employers Liability Insurance and you must have it as an employer.

Please advise should i send employer liability insurance documents to HO after getting it?
Also i am sure that i am unable to tale employer insurance in back dated.
If i take it from today and send documents to HO,does it impact on my Visa application?
What is the solution as i did not get just my mistake,without any intention

I found weblink removed by moderator when I was looking for insurance the other day. Suggests Employers Liability Insurance is a legal requirement in the UK.

You need to follow the law as required. Tier 1E rules expect you to follow the law. Effects on the visa application are not straightforward and at the discretion of HO
