Ceremony Invitation Letter

Hi everyone,

Sorry if this question have been answered before.

Does anyone know that who issues the Ceremony Invitation Letter? (The one which is received after the approval letter). Is it from the Local Council or Home Office? And or whose logo has on the letterhead? (So that I can figure out the issuing body)

P.S. Acrually, it has been more than 10 days now since I have received my approval letter whereas after reading some posts on his forum, I have found out that mostly people have received their invitation letters within a week. Therefore, I am little worried, although the timeframe given by Home Office is of 3 weeks but I am little impatient

You'll get a letter from the HO about your ceremony. The same letter or notice will also be sent to your local authority (eg council). From then on it can vary slightly depending on local authority.

Arrangement of the actual ceremony (date/time) is done by your local authority and not the HO. Depending on the council, you may get a separate letter from them - in addition to the letter from the HO - inviting you to a ceremony OR you may need to contact them to arrange a date and time.

Either way I would wait until you receive the letter from the HO regarding your ceremony before contacting your local authority.
