Unfortunately it is not on the shortage list even though most of my colleagues are not from the UK / EU as there are not enough people trained in the UK!
Im sorry to hear that your application wasn't approved either. Are you eligible for a tier 5 visa? I used that to work there in the past 2 years.

Restricted CoS rejected today. Hugely disappointing. It said it: "Your application has been refused, as it did not meet the minimum points score for the allocation". However, the RMLT was satisfied and I received 5 points for salary (£25,400 salary). Minimum points for previous months has been 21.
Immigration lawyers said either the Home Office made a mistake in the calculations or they've raised the points threshold this month.
Please did anyone receive a certificate this month on a similar salary?
May I know when was your RCOS application submitted ? in December or November ?
my application was submitted on the 5th of December.

I'm an employer and just received notification that our application was refused "as it did not meet the minimum points score for the allocation of a restricted CoS on the above decision date." We had 20 pts (RLMT) + 10 pts for salary and applied 1st December.
Very disappointing, but sounds like it was a very busy month.

Anyone still waiting for a decision? My point should be 20(RLMT)+14. Applied 21 November. Status still showing under review. Don't know if it's a good sign or not?

Thats sad. But do you know about the cutoff points this month so far?
Also incase of rejection due to points, RLMT needs to be done again?

Guys but this is really surprising. I checked the link on gov.uk where the min. points for allocation have been 21 since April 2016, how come sudden spike in Dec. 2017? Is this a technical error or the demand could be really high

That's minimum points they mention for all valid or approved applications
But it does not guarantee all applications that score above 21 will be approved
It all depends on the quota available and how much they can accommodate ...thats my belief

@sptula any idea if RLMT needs to be done again if your application gets rejected to due min. allocation of points?

Just received, as in this morning. I have no idea about having to do the RLMT again I'm afraid - I don't have any more access to information than everyone else. I would hope not, as long as the previous RLMT is adequate for the next submission.

Congrats to all those that have received their RCOS.
If HO is rejecting applications on score, despite successful RLMT, then it definitely means they're currently overwhelmed with applications. I'm one of the applicants from Nov and I know several others that are still awaiting a status update from HO.
21 points, as @sptula mentioned, is the cutoff for all valid applications but unfortunately the quota still accommodates applicants with higher points.
Also, I'm guessing that HO might be silent between 25th Dec to Jan 1, so they must be looking to disperse RCOS news to everyone this week.

Hi All,
So I am faced with a tricky situation. My employer filed for RCOS on the 5th of December. However, they've informed me that the Quota for the current month due to people with higher salary band has been achieved. As a result they will refile /resubmit in January RCOS. She mentioned how it hasnt been rejected and it all about filing for next month.
I don't know how to perceive this. If anyone has been faced with a similar situation your guidnace will be helpful.
Cheers,
