My application is under RLMT and salary is above 60K.
May I ask when your RCOS request submitted and when it was Approved ?
Congrats Vinod, you are first one among 20+35 band to get the good news. I hope mine should follow your's nowvinod150489 wrote: ↑Wed Dec 20, 2017 7:17 pmGuys my RCOS has been approved... good luck to everyone!!
I just checked Dec 2016 and it mentions 21 points. Am I missing something? Its pretty clear now that this month the quota ran short and all the shortage occupation + higher salary bands have swiped it.newentrant wrote: ↑Wed Dec 20, 2017 10:55 pmOh no did you get any information from the Home Office? I think in 2016, the points mentioned on the gov website were 32 points.
Yes they would have given a right reason - quota ran out! or something. Instead of saying application not met 21 points reqmschase wrote: ↑Thu Dec 21, 2017 6:45 amI just checked Dec 2016 and it mentions 21 points. Am I missing something? Hi,menglinxia wrote: ↑Fri Dec 22, 2017 8:25 amMy CoS application has refused for a second time in Dec. My point is 20+16=36. RLMT based. not in shortage list. I am a new graduate.
My employer rated A by home office. They applied in October, failed. Then carried out RLMT again in November and applied CoS on 4th December. Yesterday they informed me that they failed again.
HR told me company has lost confidence to secure a visa for me. They have hired more than 20 people by visa in the last 2 years but the case like me is the first time. They decided to give up. It means i need to find another job again. I declined other offers 4 months ago and chose to wait the visa process with this company in UK. It is so frustrating. It seems in this case I do not have any protection since the contract states that the offer is subject to successfully secure tier 2 visa. Do you guys have any suggestion? Thanks so much.
The lesson should gain from my experience is that UK visa is not reliable. I should taken a another job whilst waiting for UK visa process.
True. its not possible to know minimum points application that is approved which is under RLMTnewentrant wrote: ↑Fri Dec 22, 2017 3:05 pmHello,
Where did your HR get the information about the 55 points threshold? We have tried to speak to the Home Office via email and phone and they do not want to disclose the threshold to us. Our immigration lawyers also said that the HO wouldn't do it otherwise businesses will just adjust their salary based on the minimum points..
There is an article published which says the oversubscription has happened after July 2015.But July 2015 was also 46000 GBP, this time it has crossed all limits. I checked with my lawyers who are renowned, they mentioned the cutoff has been 55 points. I checked the cutoff for last month as well, to which they mentioned it was 21.sptula wrote: ↑Fri Dec 22, 2017 3:08 pmTrue. its not possible to know minimum points application that is approved which is under RLMTnewentrant wrote: ↑Fri Dec 22, 2017 3:05 pmHello,

Yes next month can be crazy as well but lets hope there is some downward trend.
Lets wait for the HO nos. in terms of carried forward COS and the picture would become more clear
Dont believe that. we scored 34 points but not awarded RCOS in november. There are some other people having more than 32 points but not awarded in November allocation and they got refused in December
Results are published. Minimum points are 55sptula wrote: ↑Fri Dec 22, 2017 4:21 pmDont believe that. we scored 34 points but not awarded RCOS in november. There are some other people having more than 32 points but not awarded in November allocation and they got refused in December
