Hi GURUS,

I am silent reader here, Have got so many information that we dont even get from a solicitor , thanks for the good forum .

I will be eligible to apple for my SET LR soon in one month . I am preparing the documents now . I never been overstayed or didnt have any out of country holidays not over 180 days in last 10 years. I have invested 80k already and I have 4 staffs working for me. My current visa expires in next year august . I am in Tier 1 entrepreneur .

my question is , I have all my passports . I have the first visa, it was student visa in my passport . after that I had 2 more student visa. But , That time it was BRP cards, so i have all passports , First student visa , one psw BRP card copy , and current BrP . But , I dont have a copy of my 2 student visas , which was brp cards and I was sent that to Homeoffice at the time of student visa extension . But I know all the dates on the visa, date of issue and date of expiry . I got that information from SAR REPORT . SO, what I do now , is that compulsory that we should have a copy of those ?

Does the form ask for all previous BRP cards?? No, it does not. HO have your full immigration history.

So what visa I need to apply for her after getting my ILR , do I need to maintain any fund ? Which enlist test she needs to pass ? Please reply .

She will be required to apply on form FLR(M) if you are granted ILR. This will reset her clock to zero and a new 5 year route (2 x 2.5 year visas) before she can apply for ILR.

So what visa I need to apply for her after getting my ILR ,

IF your ILR is successful (assuming you are applying in person), she needs to switch to a spouse visa on form FLR(M).

do I need to maintain any fund ?

No maintenance funds but you MUST meet the £18,600pa financial requirement and submit evidence of it.

Which enlist test she needs to pass ?

A1 English test from an HO approved test provider.

A1 if this is the first FLR(M), which is the case for your spouse. A2 is for FLR(M) extension once a person has already been in the UK on a spouse settlement visa for 2.5 years.

Did ur wife have her higher education certificates ie; bachelor of technology or bachelors of engineering or masters from ur country and if her taught education is in English as medium of instruction then u can certify them with UK NARIC n it can be certified as level C1 . Which is beyond the requirement even for the ILR through FLR(M) and saves her from writing English exams

Hi , thanks for all the informatikns that I received from this forum . I decided to do my SET LR application by myself . I have doubts about some questions , please help me to clarify those .
My questions are ,

1 .Section 1 : payment details

I have already paid for my application when I took the Premium service appointment . Do I still need to fill that section , asking card details and signature ? Or leave that section blank . ?

2. Question number B17 . Asking current address details and previous address if I lived in current less than 5 years in there . In past 5 years itself I have lived in 4 addresses . And space is there only for one address entry . What I do ?


3. Question c7 , have you been issued with a BRP ? Yes .
Question c8 : provided BRP number .
Question C9 : where is your BRP now ?
For this question I have ticked for submitting with application. But in total I had 3 BRP card including my current BRP card , I have ticked the box submitting with application as I'm submitting my current BRP card with application . But regarding my other 2 student BRP cards that I submitted to home office at the time of previous visa extension and I never got it back . So do I need to tick the ' expired and returned to home office ' box ?


4. Question D7 : have you ever stayed in the United Kingdom beyond the end of your period of leave ?
I don't know what to answer to this . When I applied for my last visa , I applied one week before my current visa expires, but the application was refused later after 3 months and we went to court 2 times for appeal and finally I got the visa . All the appeal and applications were on time . Never been overstayed . My question is when HO refused the application , will it consider as beyond the end of your period of leave ? Or as all the applications were on time , it is not beyond the end of your period of leave ?

5 . Question D10 , what does it means have you ever used deception when seeking leave to enter ?


6 . D13 . Please state what ties you have with ? Which country I need to specify .

7 . E14 please state what social , cultural and family ties you have with . What to answer here ?
8 . Section 4 : documents
I have all the 2 passports . But in the application asking for BRP ( your biometric residence permit if you have been issued with one since entry to UK ) . I don't have those BRB , I have the details of that

What I do , how to provide old 2 BRP cards , I have only the current BRP .

Photocopy the page 4 times or add a letter referring to the question number.

The question refers to the MOST RECENT card you have held. It DOES NOT ask for all BRP cards you have held.

Simly explain as you have written above. HO have your full immigration history details so make sure you are honest.

Lying to get a visa, using someonelses identity, using f a k e documents etc.

Your home country?? Did you miss the 3 lines stating the requirements in answering the question?

What ties you have to home county, i.e. family or friends etc.

The MOST RECENT one you have as the othes would have been retained by HO.

What I do , how to provide old 2 BRP cards , I have only the current BRP .

Ther is NO requirement to submit all old BRP cards. You are overthining.

If you are applying in person and have paid online then yes you leave it blank.

I have taken appointment already 10 days ago , actually no immediate dates were available , hence I selected PSC that is far from me . I would like to go to shefield PSC , but I been looking for a January first week dates from last 10 days , all the dates available in shefield is after 15 of January . Is there any tip To get a immediate date , I check everyday even at sharp 12am , still not getting .

Keep checking. There is no secret tip. PSC are likely fully booked up already. You will have to keep checking if there are cancellations.

And my wife is also my employee , actually what designation I need to give her ? Currently he is administrator of the company ? Do I need to change here designation in in my company ? Is there any rule like that in this visa , that hmwife has to be secretary of the company ?

This has NOTHING to do with ILR rules or Tier 1E rules. It is irrelevant that your wife is your employee

I never overstayed , 3 days before my PSW expires , I have applied for my tier 1 entrepreneur visa , for refused after 6 months with right of appeal. All the appeal and hearings were on date . And visa granted after few months . In this case , what Weill answer to this question ?
Yes or no ?
