Payment taken: 13/09/2017
Home Office Email (with case reference number): 25/09/2017
Requested return of documents: 25/09/2017
Biometrics letter received: 05/10/2017 (Dated 02/10/2017)

Additional documents returned on: 16/12/2018

Total processing around 3 months, excluding 3 extra weeks of faffing around trying to get it delivered. Timeline doesn't seem to have been affected by passport return request early in the process. Key hiccup in process was that passport return took 7 weeks!

Hi everyone! Update on my situation - our first application was refused (by our own fault really), we're applying again.

First application: EEA (FM, Ukrainian) +EEA (QP - jobseeker)

Application posted on: 12/05/17
Received by UKVI/HO on: 13/05/17
Payment taken on: 16/05/17
E-mail confirmation (both): 06/07/17
Bio letter received on: 10/07/17 (dated 06/07/17)
Biometrics Enrolled on: 12/07/17
COA With Work: Sometime in late July
COA Without Work: n/a
Decision made: 24/08/17
Resident Card Received on: nope
Documents Returned on: Late September. I had to call several times and ask whether it has been sent, and eventually they sent it, about a month after the decision had been made.

We hired a solicitor for re-applying who advised us to wait for the EU citizen to have a job and a payslip.
Second application: EEA (FM, Ukrainian) +EEA (QP - working)

Application posted on: 22.12.17
Received by UKVI/HO on: 27.12.17
Payment taken on: 29.12.17
E-mail confirmation:
Bio letter received on: 06.01.18 (dated 03.01.18)
Biometrics Enrolled on: 08.01.18
