Help on Tier 2 General - Spouse Visa

Post by Chirag04 » Sun Aug 20, 2017 10:36 am

Hello All,

I am getting married on 10th October this year with my fiance whose on a Tier 2 (General) visa out in UK.

I need help from all of you on what exactly is required in terms of documentation from myside as well as from my fiance side. Anyone who has information and can please help me with all needed documents would be of great help.

I reached quite a few immigrant consultants in India but most seem to be unaware/unsure. Also have gone through UK BA website but have understood only half a bit from it so wanted to be dead sure on same.

Hope I get a resolution over here :D

Many Thanks in advance !

Hi Manorana2009,

First of all Thanks for outlining essential points to be cared for.

Though have some doubt's on following, hope you might help answer same,

. Recent 3-month payslips ( Primary or spouses ?)
8. Bank statements (3 months, min balance £1500 held for 3 months) (Primary or spouses ?)
9. Rental agreement (Is this required and if so only Primary's name will suffice the eligibility criteria)

Many Thanks in advance.

Hi
. Recent 3-month payslips ( Primary or spouses ?)
Primary but not essential as long you have letter from employer about employment (contains name, job title, salary, job start date on employer letterhead)
8. Bank statements (3 months, min balance £1500 held for 3 months) (Primary or spouses ?)
does not matter if you are using her Bank statements add NOC from her side.

9. Rental agreement (Is this required and if so only Primary's name will suffice the eligibility criteria)
Yes Primary's name will be sufficient. If you wish you add NOC letter from the landlord but not the requirement.

Thanks
Manoj

Correct, assuming your visa is an 'upto 3 years' one.

Sal Slips and Bank statement required if we have maintenance letter

Post by Chirag04 » Sat Dec 30, 2017 10:06 am

Hello,

Have few doubts, hope someone from you would help me swim across ,

1. My wife has got Maintenance letter furbished from her sponsorer so was wondering does she need to still provide Salary slips and Bank statement ?

In Letter it's written : Please accept this letter as confirmation that XXX certifies maintenance for
the migrant XXX (and dependants, if applicable).

2. Is xerox (photocopy) of salary slip of her OK to be submitted while time of visa interview ?

Note : I am showing funds in my Bank statement for myself while applying for spouse visa

Your revert on same will be of great help to me. Thanks in advance.

Refer her to the Tier 2 General Policy Guidance, para 170, or to her employer who should be advising her on her application.

Hello,

Thanks for quick reply but questions asked above are for me while applying the Dependant (Spouse) visa.

She is already in the UK and is the Primary Applicant.

I am just trying to ensure if I have above point 1 do we need to provide additional documents and point 2 is with regards to if point 1 is valid and I would be able to provide her salary slips photocopy (to show her funds) as she needs her original slips for some work.

There is no definite list of things to prove subsisting relationship. I suggest following
  • Email Conversations
  • Phone call logs (you can use bill)
  • Skype,Facbeook whats'app chat (submit random days covering as many as days , dont provide whole history)
  • Your airline tickets that you went to the country to get married
  • marriage invitation cards
  • wedding photos
etc

Hi CR001

Do you mean I post all my questions under one thread and not create new every time ?

Sorry I did not get your point. I thought it was something by me making everything seen in one thread.

Kindly correct if wrong on same.

One more query of mine if someone from the group can help me sort it out.

Whatsapp Call logs, whatsapp chats , phone logs record ------ Are this need to be furnished from Primary Applicant side or the dependent who is applying alone

Ex : Person A (Primary Aplicant and in UK)
Person B (Applying for Dependent visa alone)

So if person B provides all evidences from his phone like screenshots and phone logs is that sufficient enough .

Thanks a lot makky86.

I was in dicey situation as my wife provided undertaking letter from her side and had mentioned about documents as proof for substantial relationship so thought better ask the folks over here :)
