Thanks vinney
Based on per day for six months it is lot of money for retirement Indian couple.
They have hardly 3500£., however I am ready to sponsor them with my financial documents.
But the issue is they are applicant and their finance should be strong.
Do you have know what documents they need to add as they have rental income only.

Hi
My advise is don't exaggerate anything. Tell them what is their true financial circumstances. If they have £3500 in the bank account. U could sponsor half of the trip cost. Do not try to transfer large amount of money in your parents account. It well weaken your case.

2nd thing plan the trip only for a month not full 6 month. otherwise they won't get the visa. 2 Person trip cost should be around £2000 to £2400 including air ticket. As u r providing them accommodation and food.

Last but not the least if they any dependent or non dependent children, relatives living in home country mention them in the application with documentation.

Thanks Route to ILRfor advice.

To make it simple i am planning to prepare following documents;

Applicant documents:
1. Affidavit (declaration of return to India, movable and unmovable assets)
2. Chartered accountant Certificate (movable and unmovable asset value based on bank saving and property valuation report)
3. property valuation report
4.Chartered accountant clarification (as saving in bank is from rental income of the property and rent India are not always deposited in bank on regular interval and some time cash as well)
5. Application cover letter - to explain details of visit plan and strong ties to India as all relatives and younger son in India.

Sponsor ’s document
· Invitation letter
· Sponsorship declaration (accommodation, funds for visitor and ready to help in any condition)
· Passport and Visa copy
· Employment letter
· 3 Month Payslips
· 3 Month Bank statements
· House ownership proof

Thanks for you time, your advice is always welcome and helpful.

Visitor visa refused

Post by monza » Thu Jan 11, 2018 12:06 am

My brother and sister in-laws visa got refused last year May 2017.
I have filed their application my self and i have answer their annual earning based on their income tax return For my brother £3350 (INR 26800).
For my sister in law £3350 (INR 267950)
But ECO mentioned that your annual income does not match with your joint bank statement closing balance £6265 (INR 501168).
Please find link to refusal letter, the wording is same for both my brother and my sister in law
https://ibb.co/f0ZYXR

Now i am preparing visitor visa for my parents so i am really confuse and conscious that what i have to write in application form for annual earning for my parents as they are retired and the source of income is based on rental income only. In his situation i decide not to include income tax return document as per above rejection which cause confusion with bank statements. So only provide last 12 month bank statement with Chartered accountant clarification on each transaction of rental income and expenditure.

· Passport and Visa copy
· Employment letter
· 3 Month Payslips
· 3 Month Bank statements
· House ownership proof

I found very fuzzy visa because there is no any concrete document requirement like other type of visa.

Do I need to complete this for (Sponsor a visa applicant: form SU07 ) as I am sponsor of my parents for visitor visa.
https://www.gov.uk/government/uploads/s ... 7.0EXT.PDF
UKVI: sponsor undertakings on maintenance and accommodation:
You should complete the certification on the sponsorship undertaking form, keep a copy on file and send the original sponsorship undertaking to the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP). Please refer to local address list for details of where to send to.
Not clear from Visitor visa guidance.

No you do not. It is NOT relevant to visitor visa applicants.

Yes, it likely will be an issue as the IO might assume they don't plan on leaving the UK and refuse entry, put on a plane back to home country. Book a return ticket that can be changed. Don't risk it with a one way ticket.
