SET(LR) Question

Post by TheRock9 » Fri Dec 29, 2017 1:20 pm

Hi All,

I qualify for ILR on basis on 10 years legal stay in UK.
My Immigaration History is below.

1. I came in January 2007 as a student
2. Applied for Student Extension in September 2009 - Rejected
3. Appealed within 14 Days -- Appeal Granted through Court and Visa issued in Februray 2010 till August 2010
4. Applied for PSW - Granted August 2012
5. Applied for Tier 1 Entrepreneur (50K Route) in August 2012
6. Rejected around August 2013 or September 2013
7 Appealed within 14 days, court Hearing in December 2013 - Court approved the Appeal and advised Home Office to ask for the extra document. received the Written Court Judgment in Start of Februray 2014, Home office asked the extra documnet in March 2014 and Tier 1 Entrepreneur (50K Route) Visa issued on 23 May 2014.
8. I got married to a British Citizen in September 2014 and switched my Visa to Depenadant FLR(M) on 23 October 2014.
9. Now my Question is after getting the Tier 1 Entrepreneur visa i was NOT working for someone, i was still a director of a company i got the visa from, but i didnt invest the money and i switched my visa in October 2014. My question is do i BREAK the Immigaration law by not investing the money after getting my Tier 1 Entrepreneur visa or is it okay to not invest as i switched my visa after 5 months.

Please Gurrus answer by above query.
Thanks in advance.

Kind Regards

The company was already trading when i was being appointed as a Director, so along with me the other director was thr (he was a British national).
Just for your information that my Initial Application for Tier 1E (50K) route was made in august 2012 and my visa was granted in May 2014.. so since August 2012 i was only working for my company which i was director of.
So please advise will this effect my ILR application if I didn't invest in my 5 months on Tier 1 E visa.

Thanks

I am not very familiar with T1 ENT. As long as you think by not investing for 5 months you didn't break Tier 1Ent terms then you should be okay.

There is no point of posting same thing again and again. If you think you are not getting enough help than rather wasting time get a help from solicitor

The requirement for investment is to invest your money during the INITIAL grant of visa. As you chose to switch to FLR(M), not investing is unlikely to have an impact on Long Residence ILR. Be ready with an explanation though IF you are asked or if your application is held for further checks.

You really need to be patient. It has been a holiday period with many members away on holiday or spending time off with friends and family. Members who constantly bump and push their threads (demanding) answers, are unlikely to get a response given that we offer our time for free while we all also have jobs and family commitments to deal with too.
