Tier1 Ent 5 yrs route to ILR supporting fund evidence

Post by Ameten » Thu Jan 04, 2018 1:50 pm

I read in a post that when Applying for ILR as a tier1 Ent, we are meant to show that we have enough fund to support ourselves in order not to depend on benefit and failure to show this evidence could result to refusal on general ground?

Q1. Please can someone clarify if this money is to be shown in a personal bank account or Company bank account.

Q2. What is the acceptable minimum amount to show?

Q3. Is there any condition or modality surrounding the money, for example, if the money have to come from a particular source?

thanks for your anticipated response.

There are no specified documents for this. It is not an attribute either.
So basically there are no specific conditions other than having to show that you have some means of sustaining yourself (income > expenses) or bank balance or support from others, etc.
If you have been sustaining yourself so far and have no major changes expected, that would basically be it.
My comments are in no way meant to be advisory. I have no professional knowledge of immigration. These are based on my own experience, convictions and personal interpretation of publicly available information.

You can send payslips or saving account statements showing you have funds or getting paid. There is nothing specific

Are you referring to Maintenance Funds? I don't think maintenance funds is a requirement for ILR via Ent Visa. The visa is points based and I don't think you get points for maintenance funds.
