Hello Gurus,
My question is I showed around £30000 from back home at the time of intial application, and the rest £20000 were shown from UK, now because I have a dependent who is working full time in UK we did not have to bring all £30000 from back home and only around £17000 were transfered from back home and the rest was invested from my dependent savings. Is there any problem in doing so? Thanks

I do not see any reason why that would be a problem.

There is a condition (which I have heard of HO checking) that the funds you showed should remain available to you until it is invested.

So, to be safe, make the investment before you use the funds back home for any other purpose.

Can you please share a timeline how much you have invested in the period of 3 years time of your initial visa? like how much you transferred from personal to your business account in first, second, and third year.

Macranth please correct me if I am wrong they will normally ask for these type of things from people who showed their money outside UK that they will bring the money in UK. But for those people who have shown all their funds in their personal account in UK before getting initial visa do you really think they can ask such type of silly things for them as well?

I have never come across a case in these forums as yet where they have asked for that information. So, no, I don't think they will ask. But whenever possible, better to be safer if you can take care of it in advance.
