You have to pay the IHS for all applicants, £600 each as the extension will be a three year extension.

hello again,
thanks for your reply,
i understand i am eligible for 3 years extension based on british passport of my husband but can i only apply for one year extension instead of three years as i will be eligible for ILR. this will help me to save my IHS for 2 years.
thanks in advance.

No you cannot. A PBS Extension is granted for 3 years are stated in the Immigration Rules. You cannot choose a lesser validity period.
