Post by venkatck » Mon Jan 08, 2018 7:23 pm

Hi All
I was In a bit tricky situation, could you please help me

I am a British Citizen (through Naturalisation)I got my BC in Sep 2014 ,my wife and son Both are on ILR since 11th of Jan 2013. due to some health issues my wife along with my son has gone back to India from 1st Feb 2014- 7th Nov 2015.
From Nov 2015 they are in UK continuously till now. my question is can I apply British Citizenship for my son as one of the parent is a British citizen and other is on ILR or do I need to wait till he completes 3 years continuous stay in UK

Thank you very much in Advance

1. Yes

2. There is no '3 year' residence requirements for children.
