Hi fellow immigrants,
do we have here any IT company employees who were refused naturalization on a basis of too much travel?
Previously, all employees of our company who provided detailed letters that they had to go on business trips, had their applications accepted. As of December last year, a number of my colleagues received rejections.
The rules on the application form state that if an applicant had more than 6 weeks per annum of travel, they have to explain the reason. There is no written rule anywhere that business trips must be excluded from reckonable residence (only periods on stamp 2, refugee status periods and some other cases are clearly stated)
Any insights/comments on this forum? Anyone knows anyone in the citizenship department?
