Is anybody applied dependent visa who already in UK on HSMP?

I need help from any sernior member of this forum.

I got my HSMP on Sep 2007 and EC approved in Nov, landed UK in Jan 2008, Luckily i have got an offer and started working, i will be receiving first pay cheque this month end

Now i need to apply Dependent Visa for my wife and 2 kids, this tier1 and hsmp rules make confused.

Please can any one tell me how much EC fee i need to pay for each dependent and what other documents i need to submit.

Hi feltham_2008,

I am also in teh same situation. Got HSMP under old rule (in Feb 2008) and at present in London. Now I am planning to apply for dependent visa for my wife. I have been doing some reading on teh net, but am not able to get enough data. I am planning to speak to VFS Bangalore first. Will update you after that.

In the mean time, any inputs on this from others would be really helpful.

Hi,

Even i have a similar situation. I got my EC clearance on Mar 29th under the Old HSMP scheme and i am planning to travel to UK in the month of may. As of now i do not have a job offer.

What would be the best way to apply visa for my dependents (Wife & Kid). Should i apply before i fly to the uk or should i apply only after reaching UK and get into a job?

Also what are the supporting documents i need to send along with the dependents application?

It would be appreciable if someone could reply to the above mentioned questions.
