Hi
Need urgent input folks as my in laws visa got rejected..I tried to explore around the web to search for specific scenario that I kin to get input but could not manage to do so. So, here is the summary from the rejection letter (as per Para V4.2(A) and (C) :
Summary from Rejection Letter :
“With above in mind, I have also considered the doc and information submitted with your application you have stated that you are married and your spouse intended to travel together and that you are in receipt of a pension. However, you have not demonstrated this from your supporting documentation and I have not been able to access how you maintain yourself on day to day basis. Given this I am not satisfied that you have accurately presented your circumstances and therefore you intention in applying to enter UK. This is undermines the credibility of your application to the extended that I am not satisfied that you are genuinely seeking visitor or intendent to leave the uk at the end of your visit. Para V4.2(A) and (C) of the Immigration rule”
The document that we have provided for my father in law were:
1. Bank statement for 6 month (showing Pension Amount getting credit from govt treasury)
2. Cover letter : explaining the details of the pension credit for each month
3. Property Document : House valuation Report and Council tax payment receipt
4. Sponsorship documents : all my document for which the visa authority have no comment and satisfied.
Little background :
My Father in law is retired government (worked at University) employee but his montly pension is low (12000 INR) and my wife is his only kid. Having said that he does have his bother and sister living in the same city, plus he don’t have great saving of bank deposit to show.
Suggestion need :
I am definitely going to include state government pension authorisation certificate (was mistake on my part that I have not done that this time) that he has received when retired from the services. However, I would appreciate response from forum member if I need any further additional document that I must submit for the application or shall I transfer funds to him to show more fund?
