Hi,
I have a few specific questions regarding the application for my wife's visa that I could really do with some help on.
I'm currently in the UK on a PGCE (teacher training course) and receive a tax-free 25,000 GBP bursary, which I intend to count towards Category B part 1, as current income over the threshold. The bursary is paid across the academic year, with 10 monthly payments of 2000 from October to July, but with additional payments of 2500 in both January and July.
1. Is this salaried or non-salaried income?
I have been on the course for 4 months.
2. If non-salaried income will it only be those 4 months that count towards Category B Part 1?
Prior to that I worked in South Korea, in total from salaried employment and another part-time job earning 2000 GBP per month. So in total over the 12 months also earned over the threshold.
3. Should I complete part 3A for my current UK income, then put the overseas employment info in Part 5?
Or should I complete Part 3A for current UK income, then Part 3B for previous overseas income?
I appreciate these are quite specific, technical questions but would really appreciate any help or advice.
Thanks
