FLR(M) to PR or Citizenship

Post by Kelly75 » Sun Jan 21, 2018 12:50 am

Hello I am Shouth Korean and holding extended FLR(M) for now 3.5 years(5 year route) and been a UK resident for 5.5 years in total and have 3 year old child(British). Am I eligible to apply Citizenship now or do I need permamant resident after 1.5 years from now and than can apply UK citizenship after holding PR for 12 months? In other word, 2.5 years left to get the citizenship?
Also what will be required? I had IELTS for the first FLR(M)(2.5 years)(expired even before exdended FLR(M) but didn’t need another exam for the extension of FLR(M)

No. You must apply for SET(M) first, no sooner than 28 days prior to the completion of your 5th anniversary of your initial grant of FLR(M) and before your leave expires. KoLL required, etc.
