Wife's upcoming FLR?

Post by Wilburfied » Fri Jan 26, 2018 1:30 pm

Hi

I'm sifting through the UKVI website trying to prepare for wife's upcoming FLR application. My question is does she apply on FLR(M) or Flr(FP) form?

Background, I'm Australian passport holder, just received ILR through the Long Residence route after 10 years of annual FLR(O), last year FLR(HRO) applications as an offshore oil worker. My wife is a Brazilian passport holder, been in the UK permanently for 5 years where she has been a dependent on my visas. I'm not sure if she is limited to 6 month FLR(FP) due to my Long Residence route?

She meets all requirements for FLR(M) with her own UK employment etc

Thanks for any advice

Then she can apply on FLR(M). She also needs English A2.

FLR(FP) is for when applicants DO NOT meet the financial and English requirement.

Then it’s FLR(M).
