T2 Dependent- Contractor with job offer looking for an Umbrella Co for T2 Sponsorship

Hello all,

I have moved to the UK (Edinburgh) last week on a Tier 2 Dependent.

I now have an offer to work as a Contractor.

Since my visa is tied to my spouse who is the primary applicant, I am looking for an Umbrella Company which I can work for, which would, in turn, provide me a T2 Sponsorship. Looking for recommendations/list/link.

I am a Cloud I.T consultant with 10 plus years of overall experience.

Note:

1: I am aware that I can work with my current Tier 2 dependent visa but I would like to be independent.

2: I am aware of the Tier 2 sponsors list but i am strictly looking for Umbrella companies to sponsor me as I already have a job offer in hand.

This is illegal and not permitted if you choose to switch to Tier 2 main applicant. Contracting is strictly not allowed. Members are NOT permitted to post ANY names of any organisation.

You have more independence to contract or be self employed with a Tier 2 dependent visa than you would ever have with a Tier 2 General main visa.

You are not going to find one. HO has systematically closed this loop hole due to extensive abuse by the previous Tier 1 General visa route which permitted any employment. If there are still a small number companies lucky enough to still remain under the radar and you manage to do it, you will not qualify for ILR as you will have been in breach of your Tier 2 General main applicant visa conditions.

I would never like to break any laws and i think there was a misunderstanding.

I am currently on a T2 dependent and am looking to switch to T2 Main and work fulltime not contract.

I am therefore looking for umbrella companies that can help me do this legally once i complete my 1 year term ( validity) as dependent.

Under Tier 2 you are not permitted to work for an umbrella company.
