Hello Experts
Please can you advise on below query.
My wife is a health professional and she is Tier 2 General main applicant too. She came to UK on Tier 4 - (Student visa) on Oct' 2014 and April' 2016 she got her first Tier 2 visa.
Now she wanted to change her job and looking for new employer to sponsor CoS.
My question here is:
Do we need to provide the Criminal Record Certificate if we apply for Tier 2 visa application for change of employer and me as a dependent. Since we are already here in UK and have tier 2 visa for almost 2 years, does that apply to us as well.
Thank you very much in advance.
Regards,
Raj

I don't think you need one if you apply from inside the UK

Hi UKLL
Thank you very much for your reply.
Please can you confirm if you are 100% sure as we are going to apply visa soon and we are really confused at this stage for this particular document if we need to provide it or not.
Shall we ask second opinion from other experts too.

When you apply for your visa they will give you a list of what documents you need to provide to them and just follow that list. I have just recently applied for Change of Employer myself 2 months ago and I did not provide this document. However, you may benefit from asking other people yes!

I was unsuccessful but it was because the employer has not provided enough information regarding RLMT, not because of the document.

aah that's sad, not to worry mate !! hopefully you will get another CoS soon.
May I ask, if you have applied under health or education profession, because I believe this particular document is only required for health or educational professionals at the moment for tier 2 applications. My wife is a health professional.
thanks
Raj
