sorry typo error..it was not my extension , my extension is due in coming months..
I am talking about first entrepreneur visa (3 years) that time we had right of appeal so i won my appeal..
i made similar mistake as you did, as I did not tick any one of sole trader or company director so they refused me saying that i have not ticked any of categories..
But i guess you ticked one as sole trader then why did refuse, i cant understand.., you must have made anyother big mistake that you might dont know!!!
Best Regards
Rockey

Yes, this should be easy to get overturned.
Keep the argument concise. The shorter and sharper the better.
Just state the appropriate attribute and the document that supports it.
Mention that CAR is irrelevant as self employed documents are submitted.
Thankyou marcnath
So which of the following reasons can i choose in AR online form for refusal
1) applied the immigration rules correctlt
2) failed to apply the Secretary of States's relevant published policy and guidance
Also a minor doubt regarding HMRC letter which should be provided within 6 months of grant. Actually i had been registered as self employed during my psw in july 2013 and provided the same which is well before the intial entrepreneur grant which was given in march 2014-2017
Thanks in advance
I am actually not sure, but 2) seems more appropriate.
within 6 months of grant is ok if it was before.
Have you got any idea whether success of applications depend on hiring a legal representative or involving an MP? Does it have any implication.

I would say no.
My comments are in no way meant to be advisory. I have no professional knowledge of immigration. These are based on my own experience, convictions and personal interpretation of publicly available information.

Applied tier 1 entrepreneur extension on march 7 2017. Gave biometrics in april 2017 and got email from home office saying complex and wil take time. Got refused on feb 07 2018 with reason as not registered as director whereas when i applied as being self employed. Went for Administrative review on feb 15 2018. Got email on march 15 2018 saying would let us know the decision by 29th march. Got IHS refund on april 4 2018 and got biometric card on april 5 2018. Waiting to receive the documents.
