Hi all,

I am applying flr fp in March. I would like an appointment on 7th March but first available I booked is 23rd March in Glasgow.

I'm going to Spain on 2nd April so need an earlier appointment if possible. Does anyone have advice on how to get an earlier appointment? Is there any way to get a cancellation appointment?

Keep checking every day. No other way but online unfortunately.

March is the busiest month as many book appointments to pay fees before the fee increase in April.

When does your current visa expire?

My visa expires on 1st April but as we are going away on 2nd April to Spain I would like my renewal ASAP.

BLS Spanish visa have said I need to apply 3 weeks before for a VISA with them so I have really left it last minute by mistake. I will keep trying online for an earlier appointment.

It is random, hugely depends when and IF people cancel or postpone their appointments.

I managed to get a new appointment at about 3pm they put up cancellations got one in sheffield for 6th March which I will travel too.

Phew, well done. Wishing you all the best.

Please remember that you do not get your new visa on the day. The BRP card is delivered by courier within 2-10 days after your appointment, so you might still have an issue regarding your Schengen visa as you won't have your new card.

My last schegnen visa with Spain they only took a week but this time when I phoned he said I must apply four weeks before so not sure if it will take so long. I will phone beforehand and see if they can advise if they need it.
