Dependent's passport validity period

Post by hsmpseek » Fri Apr 11, 2008 2:13 pm

Hi,

I hold a valid approval letter and have applied for stamping in April first week.

My wife's passport expires in Nov 2009. i.e. Its valid for less than 2 years. What will be the implications of this?

Can someone please guide me on this?

Thanks in advance.

Your dependent will get visa for two years on your old passport. Although the passport would expire but visa would remian valied. The dependent needs a new passport before six months of passport expiry.
