NHS surcharge joining family settlement visa

Post by sreekan2 » Mon Feb 19, 2018 5:05 pm

Hi, I got an ILR visa last year, my wife and daughter are in India and I am trying to apply visa for them.
I filled the application form in visa4uk website and it is redirecting me to NHS surcharge website for payment,

for my daughter who is 3 years old it is giving me 0 INR and for my wife it giving 300,000 INR.
can someone please confirm those are right! as per my knowledge from this portal, they only get 2.5 years visa, and I am not sure whether children don't need to pay NGS surcharge!

We are not all from Asia. Kindly quote in £££.

It should be £600 each.

Yes, children have to pay. HO is aware of the glitch stating £0 for children under 16 and will email you to pay at some point if you are not able to pay online.

My apologies CR001,

for my wife, it is around £1400, seems like it is for 7 years, for which my visa is valid for!
am I doing anything wrong?

That is because you are entering the end date of your ILR or something.

She must apply alone or calculate your 'visa end date' as 2.5 or 3 years.

Settlement Spouse visa from India

Post by sreekan2 » Tue Mar 06, 2018 3:50 pm

Hi,
Can some please clarify me, I been reading so many posts and I am failed to understand the full procedure.

I am an ILR holder and my wife and daughter applying for family settlement visa from India. I completed the online application and waiting to book an appointment. The point I failed to understand is do they need to post application form and Appendix 2 to Sheffield? or do I need to post them to Sheffield along with my payslips and other supporting documents?

The end of the online process should tell you what to do.
