Deception issue and Spouse Visa

Hi All Members

My friend Kumar is in India.He is married to British wife and has a 3 years old daughter out of their relationship.Both are living in India with their daughter. He has applied for his visit visa to come to the UK to meet wife's parents which was refused.Kumar was banned for 10 years.

Kumar used to live in the UK for 9 years on a student visa.He was overstayed for few months and then decided to leave the country voluntarily.During this time the Home Office sent him letters to come for the reporting which he never received as he moved out of his address.

When he applied for a visa he answered NO to this question
"HAVE YOU EVER VOLUNTARILY ELECTED TO DEPART THE UK" but visa officer thought that he is lying and give him 10 years ban for hiding information.

He is looking to apply for Spouse visa.Will the deception make an issue of his spouse visa for same grounds as this time he will all correct information(he has his SAR)

Just out of interest, why are you always making inquiries for these people, why can't they sign up and make inquiries themselves.

Please, ask your 'very lazy friends' to register and ask their own questions for whatever application they are making.
