Biometric Expiry Issue ??

Hi my wife was granted FLR under the 10 year partner route back in september 2015. We were going to renew through the postal option this month but she needs to urgently travel due to a tragedy in her family and her brp expires the end of march. What are the options as its too late to renew even through premium service as there are no appointments ?

If she leaves and applies for a new entry clearance spouse settlement visa, her clock is likely to reset to zero.

so if she leaves is she likely to be turned away when she reaches the UK airport ? She doeskin have much of an option because she cannot renew on time.

She cannot return to the UK if she does not have a valid visa, so yes, she won't even get on a plane.

She also cannot apply for an extension and then leave as HO will have her passport and BRP card.

Her dad is critical if for any reason she has to stay longer than that period, what options does she have ?
